Your rate and level of growth depends on how well you do the following:
Engagement: Meet with the leadership team and/or manager and the leader to 1) understand and design the scope of the coaching engagement which includes determining the desired behaviors in the leader’s current or future leadership role and 2) test the chemistry or fit between the leader and myself to determine if we both want to proceed.
Assessment: Determine how to gather performance data on the leader. With leader determine the key stakeholders to which s/he will be held accountable. Current in-house or existing data can be helpful along with data collected through key stakeholder interviews conducted by me.
Feedback and Development Planning: Extensive feedback from data collected by all sources is compiled and given to the leader and provides the basis for a leadership improvement plan. The plan is co-developed by the leader and coach and presented by the leader to his/her manager and any other key stakeholders, when applicable.
Coach to the Plan: Reach agreement on key behaviors to change. Leader talks with identified key stakeholders to collect suggestions on how to improve on the key areas designated for improvement. Review what leader has learned, share additional ideas if needed, and leader is asked to develop a plan of what they want to do. Develop an ongoing, efficient and focused follow-up process.
Exit Interview: Three or four-way meeting with leader, manager, and myself to determine the success of the coaching engagement and the next steps to continue and deepen the behavioral changes.
Deliverables: 8-10 hours which includes an initial meeting with leader and key stakeholders; 30 minute interviews with key stakeholders to collect data; debrief of any assessments taken by leader.
Coaching schedule: Determined by coach and leader and includes weekly meetings
Investment: 10 Week Engagement $4500
This includes once a week coaching sessions, email correspondence, journaling and email coaching, assessments as needed, maintenance plan following the 10 weeks which includes weekly check-ins for 3 months.
