There are coaches that coach for free and coaches who charge six figures per year. My fees are somewhere in between….fully customized according to the needs of each client or organization. Program fees will vary depending on the type of services used and the length and intensity of the coaching engagement. After we meet and discuss your needs, I’m happy to present a proposal with at least two possible ways we could go – including a variety of services and pricing options.
I always address your burning issues – the things that are getting your attention – that you want to start resolving now. Every coaching conversation I have with you is aimed at getting you the results you ask for.
I offer my unique blend of me: my experiences, knowledge, training, communication style and personality. You can get a feel for that by: reading over my bio, looking at my training, reading what I have to say in my blog and articles, talking to others about me and of course, talking directly to me.
I challenge you when I think that you are operating out of your blind spots, not being real (saying what you think I want to hear) or playing small (giving in to your fears).
I thoroughly enjoy us being human together. We’ve got work to do that I do take seriously AND let’s enjoy the process.
That varies and depends on these things: your goals, focus and commitment.
It may be only one session if all you need is clarity around a single question or issue. We may work together from now until……This is common when someone loves to be continually learning and growing. Of course, it can be anything in between.
It may be a season that lasts for months – or a few years. Coaching that is needed to meet intense deadlines or complete a project usually has a specific time frame of less than a year. Team building, handling personal or professional growth or crises depends on unpredictable variables – like your sense of urgency and motivation for how quickly you want to move forward or how quickly you want to alleviate the degree of pain or discomfort you’re feeling, your amount of self-discipline, and your level of self-awareness.
I use several different coaching models to meet a client’s needs. In the consultation and intake phase of coaching, I gather a lot of information about your needs, obstacles and desired outcomes. If you are developing leadership skills, I will talk with key stakeholders as well. Using that information I recommend a strategy to achieve your ideal outcomes and goals. The strategy may include one or more of the coaching models and approaches listed below:
Performance-Based Coaching
This approach is VERY behavior-oriented. All action items are observable and measurable. A standard for success is clearly defined. This is often used when people want to focus on remediating deficits or improving their strengths.
Transformational Coaching
This model focuses on the heart and emotions and is often used when someone wants to make a major change in their thought patterns and emotional life. I often use a strategy called Transformative Inquiry developed by Byron Katie as well as a five-step process developed by Dr. Caroline Leaf.
Brain-Based Coaching
This approach is for clients who want to take a highly cognitive approach to understanding change and how to best use their brain to eliminate old thought patterns and behaviors and initiate and sustain new thought patterns and behaviors.
Spiritual Coaching
This type of coaching uses the power of prayer and scripture and your relationship to God, Christ and the Holy Spirit to change your life.
